The Wolverine sunlight readable computer is HAZLOC approved and ruggedized for use in virtually any environment. It sports a NEMA 4x environmentally sealed enclosure with corrosion resistance. The Wolverine now includes a heater option to allow operational temperature ranges down to -40° C. Based on a single board computer with up to 1.8 GHz Intel® Pentium® M processor, the unit can be configured with up to 2 GB DDR SDRAM.

Wired Ethernet is configured with an Intrinsically Safe (IS) Ethernet Barrier to allow the Ethernet cable to run through a Zone 1 environment. Armored cables are not required. Standard CAT-x Ethernet cables may be used for connection.

In addition to a field removable hard drive, watchdog timer, and dimming control, the Wolverine includes a safe area enclosure that can connect to your network.

To provide sunlight readability with minimal temperature rise, the 15" AMTFT LCD utilizes Computer Dynamics’ passive enhancements. Viewing enhancement filters are included to reduce sunlight loading. For reliable operation, an impact-resistant Acrylic-on-Glass resistive touchscreen with anti-glare and scratch resistant screen is standard.
