Terms and Conditions for Returned Materials:
Insure shipment for full value. Customer is responsible for any freight, duty, and brokerage charges incurred in returning product to Computer Dynamics Inc. (CDI). Shipper takes full responsibility for any damage incurred in shipping. You will be notified if CDI suspects any shipping damage. CDI charges a shipping & handling fee and insurance for all items shipped from our dock. If your company is self-insured, we require a hardcopy letter for our files before insurance can be waived.
All products returned may be subject to a retest fee. This fee varies depending on the complexity of the product, and is no more than $350. A warranty item will incur the retest fee if no problem is found. Customers with CIA and COD terms will be required to provide the retest fee either by check, wire or credit card before an RMA# will be issued. All customers with extended terms must provide a purchase order with a minimum dollar figure equal to the retest fee. No item can be evaluated or repaired until a purchase order is received.
Items that are awaiting repair authorization for more than two weeks are subject to a storage charge of $10.00 a day. RMA units are subject to refurbished part use for repairs. The disposition of defective parts removed during repair is subject to the discretion of CDI and considered exchange.
All non-warranty items have a 90-day warranty from the date of shipment on the repair performed.
Complete this form for each product returned. All non-warranty repairs require a purchase order. Purchase orders, additional instructions and/or paperwork should be faxed to (864) 752-1537, attention Victoria Lowery.
