Flat Panel Display Monitors by Computer Dynamics

Our flat panel display monitors offer color active matrix TFT LCDs, in sizes ranging from 6.4" to 30" and accept PC-compatible VGA signals from any standard video source. Various agency approvals are available. Some standard products that meet certification requirements include:

• Class I, Division 1 and 2-compliant flat panel display monitor that is connected to its host computer via fiber optics. All signals including video, RS-232 (for touchscreen data), PS2 mouse and keyboard are transmitted over a single pair of eye-safe fiber optic cables. This monitor comprises a small transmitter/receiver box mounted at the host computer, and a display system consisting of the display, touchscreen and associated interface electronics. The 15" AMTFT LCD is available as a 900-nit Ultra-HiBrite, sunlight-readable display for outdoor applications. A near field imaging touchscreen is available for operator interface. This monitor is housed in a painted formed aluminum enclosure that is designed to dissipate heat adequately. Mounting options include pedestal, wall or hanging mounts. An industrial keyboard/mouse is also available.
  
  
• An ultra-thin flat panel display monitor featuring a 15" XGA (1024x768) color TFT LCD and resistive touchscreen. At less than two inches thick and only eleven pounds, this flat panel monitor is light enough to attach easily to a mounting arm or wall. The unit is ready for immediate operation in a variety of applications including medical products, as it carries 601/2601 Medical Safety, FCC-B and CISPR 11 certification. Simple to connect, it requires only one cable, instead of the normal three, for video, RS-232 and power.
  
  
• An ultra-slim flat panel display monitor featuring an 17.1" SXGA (1280x1024) 16.7M color TFT LCD with optional resistive, capacitive, or surface acoustic wave touchscreen. The attractive system is housed in a durable plastic enclosure. The unit is ready for immediate operation in a variety of applications including end-user systems, as it carries C-UL, FCC, TUV/GS, CE, MPR II, EPA, NUTEK, D, N, S, F, TCO (optional). The unit interfaces with any standard VGA/SVGA/XGA analog video signal and has auto-adjust, -configuration, -brightness, -contrast, landscape/portrait function, RGB color, and system information.
  
  

Other flat panel display monitors available are enclosed, stand alone and panel mount units. The enclosed systems offer flexibility in terms of display choices and mounting options. All enclosed systems include a sealed front bezel, which offers NEMA 4/12 protection on the front surface; powder-coated aluminum, rear-vented enclosures; and mounting choices including table-top, wall mount and optional mounting arms.

Panel-mount flat panel display monitors are integrated with resistive touchscreens and feature active matrix color TFT LCDs in sizes from 8.4" to 18.1". All have NEMA 4 rating on the front surface, with the front bezel ready to be panel-mounted. Bezels are constructed of painted metal with a fingerprint-proof, clear plastic overlay. the anodized aluminum rear cover is vented for heat dissipation, and provides protection for all electronics.
