A rail company who is a leader in asset tracking software, specializing in tracking assets in rail, marine, and other mobile markets needed a custom solution.





The Challenge

The client needed a cost effective, durable computer solution that could be mounted and used in rail cars. An integrated display and computer solution was needed to communicate wirelessly to a host server and provide crew members with the ability to access some of the features of the tracking system. In addition to the need for a durable computer platform, the customer had several custom requirements necessary to implement a final solution.

After spending time working with this customer to understand their application needs, the deployment environment, and items critical to their success, Computer Dynamics offered a solution that met all of their needs at essentially the same price as a competitors’ off-the-shelf solution. Also, Computer Dynamics created a custom solution that was on time and on budget.
